I wanted to take the opportunity to inform you about our procedures during bad weather conditions. Franklin County Public Transportation will be closed when weather conditions are not conducive to safe travel. When schools are closed or road conditions are determined to be unsafe by the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department, FCPT will be closed. Closings will be announced on local radio stations (WRBI Batesville, on our Facebook Page-Franklin County Public Transportation, and on the local Cincinnati News Stations).

Hi my name is Missy Ratz. I am the executive director of Franklin County Public Transportation. I want to welcome you to our website. We are a not-for-profit public transit company serving Franklin County, Indiana. We are a demand response system with some subscription services. We provide transportation to those 60+ in our community for a donation opposed to a fare due to our association with Area 6 Lifestream Services.
